I am so sick of these freaking flies

The infestation is back. i have no idea why. but it is the most disgusting thing ever. there were three of them on the reflection of my face in my mirror. and like four more buzzing around my head. last night, i had the christmas lights by my bed on, and they flocked to the light. i counted fifteen on my ceiling. FIFTEEN. in this tiny room. FIFTEEN F-ING FLIES. I thought there were maybe three or four in here, i didnt realize it was that bad. it was like i had disturbed an ant colony..i cant sit for a moment without seeing one fly past my nose. its disgusting. DISGUSTING.  Please for the love of God, someone get me out of here or kill those freaking creatures before I go mad

True story

This is what really irks me. Christians are always under fierce attack. This guy says that Creationists are ignorant scientifically illiterate people who should be prevented from poisening the minds of students. Christian scientists are always debunked and dismissed simply because they call themselves “Creationist”. Any information they may uncover is authomatically seen as garbage from scientifically illiterate people. If thats not religious discrimination, in a country where we supposedly have religious freedom, I dont know what is. If Christians scientific research can be dismissed simply due to their religious affiliation, then the same standard should be held for Atheists, Buddhists, Muslims etc. No one thinks twice about the validity of a scientists work because they are an Atheist, but the same work done by a Christian researcher is immediately attacked and debunked simply because they are Christian. Yea, it is true, some Christian scientists are researching to promote Creationism. But some Atheists are researching to promote Evolution. Two rival ideas. Two rival world views. Yet here in the “Land of the Free” we like to delete any ‘religious presence’ from academia, yet they seem to have missed the most belligerent of them all. Evolution, just as much as Islam or Taoism is a world view. Just like Christianity. Yet Evolution, not Creationism, or Taoism,  is seeking to monopolize all academic and scientific thought and eradicate all others.

If these self-proclaimed scientifically literate non-Christian researchers are so confident in evolution, why do they fear any other contesting theories being presented along side?  If they are so absolutley correct, why do they see Creationism as a threat? Why do they demand that their ideas be the sole impressors on the minds of our young. If they are so concerned with being correct, you would think they would welcome contention, in order to extract the absolute truth, even if it meant rewriting previously held beliefs. May I point out that the most revered and world-changing scientific pioneers were blasphemed, debunked, and persecuted for their beliefs. Newton overthrew Descartes and redefined the way in which light is perceived, Copernicus and Galileo took on the Church to prove Heliocentrism-a fact we all know to be true, and even the worshipped Darwin himself defied the scientific and religious climate of his day. In hind sight, we laugh at those who denounced Newton as ignorant and scientifically illiterate. and for the record, Newton himself believed in God. Yet we do not denounce him today for those beliefs, do we? We see only an intrepid pioneer and contributor to the body of science. I charge you to hold the same standards to yourselves as you hold to others. The world has enough hippocrits as it is. Instead, the research, data, and conclusions of every scientist should be taken into equal consideration regardless of religious affiliation.

On A Personal Note:

I find that there are too many holes in the evolution theory. People seem to forget that it is, after all, a theory. Not solid fact. Unless you know someone who was around for the supposed 146 billion years that our planet has existed in perfectly balanced harmony within the universe.

I for one, did not spontaneously generate from primordial ooze. My great-great-great-great x 10^15 grandfather was not a hairy quadrupedal ape. And I do not share a common ancestor with with my turtle nor my beta fish. As for this ‘“highely literate super-educated’” moron, who promotes the sacking of educators who have had as much education, if not more, than he has had, and have reached different conclusions in their research, well I cant say. Maybe he should go back to his tree and scratch for awhile. If were supposedly all about religious tolerance, if we can teach “World Religions” and have mosques, temples, and churches, and universities on the same block, then they deserve just as equal a say in schools. Are they afraid to let people decide for themselves? Its time to end the Evolution Monarchy.
